KGM + Haircut + Hospital Visit

Hello!!

Had KGM today because cancelled the Monday one.
Overslept and cabbed down and I actually reached earlier than them!!
Had to queue because it was full, but luckily we were first in queue.
AAAAA!! Finally had our samgyeopsal!!! 삼 겹 살!!!
(Learning Korean in the mean time!!)

Ended the lunch with Udders Ice Cream as usual!!!

Went to town for our hair cut.
I love my hair cut.
I went back to Kenji and told him that I want my hair short.
And he gave me this.

Like a chio please, trying very hard to recreate this effect everyday though. Haha!

Then went to NUH to visit my grandpa.

Party @ Zouk!

So after Nicholas' last paper yesterday, we finally decided to party!!
Haven't been doing that for more than 2 months, Gabrielle and I just could not resist the temptations everytime clubbing music started to play.
But just before we went, Gabrielle and I were feeling kind of not in the mood for party.
But Nicholas got kind of pissed off so we decided to go ahead.

Bathed and cabbed down to Gab's place, then to Zouk.
Nic was late so we were wondering around and sitting at the bus stop to wait for him.
He warned us before that Friday will be very crowded, but when we reached, there was no queue at all.

 When Nic reached and we were ready to enter the club, Gab suddenly pulled me aside and told me she forgot to bring her IC.
And then it struck me that I didn't bring mine too!
We both were depending on Nic to pay first for the whole night that we only brought our phones, and I brought my card along just for cab rides.
Nic kept persuading us to try, but we both were so adamant that the bouncers will check our ICs.
So we cabbed to both our homes to get our ICs before returning to Zouk.
In the end, the bouncers let us in without checking our ICs!!!! OMG!!!

Got the chops and because we were all so hungry, we decided to head over to Great World City for Mcds.
Returned to passed 12am.
Got our complimentary drinks at Phuture's bar first.
OMG it was freaking crowded!!!
The 2 of them has jaggerbombs while I opted for my cranberry vodka.
Yes I always drink cranberry vodka because I cannot stand the taste of alcohol.
So after the alcohols, we headed to the dance floor.
But just as we were walking in, this guy suddenly stopped me to say hello.
I thought he was a friend of mine so I stopped and took a closer look.
Until he started asking me for my name, then Gab pulled me away.

The night wasn't really enjoyable actually.
The DJ wasn't that good, as in there were pauses between interchanging of songs.
And I guessed we haven't been updating ourselves so lots of music we haven't hear before.
And there's this group who is out to ruin every song that night.

Maybe this will help in understanding the frustration behind us three that night.
We kept shouting at them to STFU!
That night was filled with NS guys too!
The capacity was like ladies' night + a bit more in the club, and then another 100+ smoking outside.

When we were thirsty and tired, we got to the bar to get some water.
Then this lady tapped me and asked me for my name, then told me that her friend wanted to know me.
I guessed I haven't been approached much before, so I was kind of shocked and walked over to Nic and Gab.
But then they were really fun, started guessing our ages and then played with Nic to guess others' ages.
Gab and I then went off to the dance floor to continue dancing.
OMG! We were totally under attacked by NS guys.
Imagine so many botak heads trying to get near you.

Went off at about 3am, cuz it wasn't fun plus we were tired from all the squeezing and pushing.
Went to Swee Choon for supper.
Nic and I were dead tired. Haha!
Asked Nic about the 2 in the club and he told me they were Canadians + Hong Kongs.
Then I confessed to them that the guy was actually kind of cute.
They started scolding me, saying that I should have told them earlier.
LOL. OKOK next time I will just be brave and chat with the guys who approach me OK?

Left at about 4am for home!
Don't think we will return for Friday nights anymore.

Intro to Econs Exam, and really deep talk

Today's exam was quite good.
I should be able to pass my exam!

Met up with Nic and Gabrielle at Bugis.
Lazed around while they continued studying.
Then we went off for dinner.
Chose Lenas in the end.
Everything from the menu looked really good.
I felt like trying everything.
Aft dinner, we had a really long talk.
It started off with me saying that the maids in SG actually works harder than maids in other countries.
Then it shifted to how the older generation really likes to "torture" people in order to show off their status.
Then it went on to how Nic's family and his relatives had a conflict.
Then it went on somehow, I dunno how, to having sex.
Then it continued to Nic started asking us why we did not accept the guys who came after us.
I was kind of spacing out at the last part, cuz I dun really know how to answer him.
I just dun have an answer for why I dun accept them.
But it's cool that we have been friends for almost one year, and we are still so tight, and now we have really advanced into friends who can share their heartfelt issues.

Meeting up with the old friends

Met up with Gary and Lizhen and Jackson today.
Even though we had nothing much to do, so we walked around Orchard, but it was really good feeling cuz Gary and I used to go out really frequently in secondary school days.
It's cool that even though we have our own separate lives now, we still bother to meet up and keep in contact.

Mirror Mirror

Studied at Cathay's Starbucks today.
Got the promotion beverage ooh!!

Watched Mirror Mirror afterwards.
It's a funny show, suits me real well cuz I love brainless movies.
And the fact that it ended with a bollywood dance really cracked me up.

Weird People!!!

Accompanied my sister to the polyclinic today.
Had a long time waiting for our turn when it only lasted 5 mins.
There was this couple who seemed like they went to the polyclinic to date.
They could not stop touching and hugging each other.
I would not have much problem with that, but not when they could not resist their affection and blocked the entrance of the queue line.
Seriously???

Then when we reached our block, there's this uncle who kept looking at us.
None of us think much about it.
Then we acknowledged one of the auntie we knew.
And the uncle asked the auntie who are we.
Then proceeded to talk throughout the whole lift journey, saying that we have no manners, our parents did not teach us to acknowledge the elders, because we did not acknowledge him.
I swear, throughout my 23 yrs leaving here, I have never seen this uncle before.
I didn't know that he was talking about us because he was speaking in dialect.
I kept wondering why a lady in the lift kept looking at me up and down.
I still thought that maybe I dressed nice, that's why.
I'm bimbo like that.
Then my sis elbowed me, and I still did not catch her hints.
And when we reached our floor, my sis turned back and shouted "BYE BYE UNCLE" at the uncle.

Why she never tell me straight in the uncle's face lah?
I want to scold also!!!

we had a night sponsored by Gabrielle's dad.
I was late again, as usual. haha!
We went to Titanic's exhibition, then Todai for dinner, and then swimming at night.

Nth was opened, so we lingered around and bought some alcohol and snacks.
Who knows all of them KO-ed once we returned to the room, leaving me to finish the snacks and alcohol all by myself.

i've been thinking today.
one more month and my exams will be over.
not sure to be happy that i'm only left with a month to suffer,
or be sad that i'm left with less than a month to study.

anyway, gabrielle got us a one night stay in MBS next monday night.
so excited!!!

Woke up late again arghhh!!!
I think I always off my alarm unknowingly.
I really need to change this habit.

Cabbed down to Roxy Square.
The cab uncle drove me to the back of the building and kept pointing to me that the building is Roxy Square when I saw Katong Plaza.
Had to agree with him to avoid him driving me further.
Walked back to Roxy Square with directions from Calista.
She told me that I sounded so lost on the phone.
Haha. It's only my second time there!!
So we started our facial session.
The receptionist wasn't very friendly, but luckily the masseuses are!
Did diamond peel and oxyjet, with shoulder massage.
The lady said that the bumps on my forehead are actually blackheads that are blocked from coming out.
So she used the sharp like needle to poke and then squeezed them out.
I was near to tears, it was that pain, but the after effect made the pain really worth it.

After 2 hrs of stiff lying on the bed, we went to have lunch at Ajisen because we were all famished!
Then we took a cab down to Orchard.
Today, all the cab uncles are weird.
This one asked us what's so chai in Cantonese means, randomly.
Then told us that the building was Somerset 313 when it was actually Orchard Central.
Walked back to Orchard Central to visit Editor's Market Ave.
I think that's the higher-end of Editor's Market.
I didn't manage to find anything nice to buy there.
Walked over to Somerset 313's F21.
When I saw the electric blue messenger bag, I knew I had to get it.
Been looking for an electric blue bag for very long.
But I bear with the temptations, because we were heading to H&M after that.
Bought 3 clothes from H&M, a dress, a tube dress, and a tube top.
Told my sis to buy the electric blue bag for me while I rushed down to Ikea Alexander to meet the Poly Gang.
I was ultra late!!!

In the end, I realised that I had to return the dress and the tube top because they were too big for me, and my sis did not buy the electric blue bag for me because they didn't pass by F21 anymore.
But I'll be back with the refunded money to get the bag!!!

Had dinner at Ikea.
While eating, we had a very major discussion about Edwin's gender preference.
Then Edwin went on to self pawn himsel which I shan't say here.
He also made me do very embarassing stuffs with him because he knew that I am the only sporting one. Haha!

Drove over to JCube @ JE.
It's my first time there since they opened on Monday.
Was expecting that the ice skating rink will be ultra big, but it seems like the size remained as when it was in JEC.
Oh well...
Wanted to catch American Pie: The Reunion, but we were only left with the front row seats.
So we basically just walked, then stopped, crapped, then walked, then stopped, then crapped again.
We managed to walk 2-3 rounds of the same spot by doing these.
Then we went home.

Every outing with them, only means laughters through the day. =)

Met Nicholas, Joanne and Gabrielle at Nex.
They bought all the BBQ materials.
We bought bubble tea and some snacks before heading over to Nicholas' house.
He kept trying to trick us by walking to some other direction, and then detour back to the right way.

Over at Nicholas' house, I felt so useless because I don't know how to cut the veggies or start up fire.
I just stood at the side and watched.
But I contributed later on by cooking all the meat.
Halfway while eating, Nicholas' neighbours all started to gather at our BBQ place.
It's like a kampung gathering, which is damn cool.
I like the happy feeling, where people talk to each other and laugh aloud.
How come my place not this happy??

After we finished, it's about 11+pm.
When we walked to the MRT, the last train has already departed!
We had no choice but to cabbed back together.

Met up with Stephanie and Gabrielle at Chinatown for dinner.
We had frog leg porridge, satay, and BBQ chicken wings.
The satay was damn good please!!!
Passed Stephanie her birthday presents.
Then we walked around Chinatown, to Club St where we found really good chill out bars, then to Maxwell Market wanting to get some Laoban Taohwey but it was sold out, but we saw some trannies getting ready for the night.

Trained to Bishan to meet up with Nicholas and Joanne.
Bought Coffeebean, and then shared a cab to the prawning pond.
Initially we only bought 3 hours to prawn.
But near the end, we kept getting so many big prawns that we got greedy.
We extended another 3 hours, and we ended up with nothing much.
BBQed all the prawns at about 5+am and eat them as our breakfast.
Joanne and Nicholas cabbed home because lousy Nicholas cannot take the tiredness anymore.
While Gabrielle and I took bus back to King Albert's Park.
We even walked to McDonald's to get some food and drink before separating to go home.

We kept laughing at Georgina's "my boyfriend".
It's so weird to hear her say "my boyfriend". Haha!
Today, they are the bao ka liao company for me.
